I love to dress up for the occasion...especially in Summer!
A Rosé Wine Soirée? I'm there in my cutest pink dress with a matching purse.
Hawaiian themed event? I will probably make something special just for it.
Cocktails & dinner at a friend's place? Probably would show up carrying something like this...
Summer just makes me happy and it really seems to get my creatitivity flowing. I'm more productive, often working later because that sun is still shining!
If I'm ever stuck on what to create next, I usually gravitate to tropical themes and motifs. They are endless...palm leaves, pineapples, bright colors.
I've recently had so much fun mixing elements and patterns that at first seem odd together, like zebra print ribbon with tropical prints. The unexpected was fresh and freed my mind of any notions about "what goes together". I made a purse for myself that is almost all black, but had a bamboo handle and little gold pineapples! I can pair it with so many outfits, since I lean toward black most of the time.
My cigar box handbags that feature these island vibes really make getting dressed easy and fun! A simple white sundress or pair of pants is instantly elevated with a bold purse and some cute espadrilles!
